Netflix Games are now Available Worldwide on Android to Subscribers

Netflix understands gaming as the future of entertainment. The company stated its interest in developing the gaming business ahead this year.

Yet, unlike tech giants such as Nvidia, Google (Stadia) and Microsoft (Xbox and many others), Netflix isn’t allowing its user a game streaming platform.

Alternatively, Netflix is working on an utterly separate path: allowing its subscribers free-to-play mobiles games to download onto their devices.

Preferably than streaming games from the cloud, users can download these games from the Google Play Store on a cooperative Android device.

Netflix initially rolled out the service in Poland back in July as a beta program. Presently, Netflix announces it is available for a complete global rollout.

Whether you need a casual game, you can begin from scratch or an immersive adventure that makes you dig deeper into your chosen stories. In a blog post, the company said that we want to create a library of games that offers something for everyone.

The feature is yet rolling out to users, and a new “games tab” on the Netflix app, whenever the part is ready.

Currently, Netflix subscribers global can play five mobile games: The Game, Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Shooting Hoops, Card Blast and Teeter Up.

The preceding games are available to all subscribers despite their plans, including no extra fees, in-app purchases or advertisements. Some of these games are even possible for offline play.

Nevertheless, Netflix subscribers without an Android device will not be capable of benefiting the service, as the service doesn’t appear to be occurring to other platforms anytime soon.

Apple doesn’t recognise any game-streaming service on the iOS app store. At the corresponding time, Netflix is concentrated on mobile games only for now.
