During the Cinevesture International Film Festival Karan Johar discussed about his upcoming projects and he also told about the Student of the Year third installment. He said Reema Maya will be directing the Student of the Year 3.  And it will be a web series, not a movie, it will premiere on OTT platfrom.

Reema is writer, director and co-founder of the production house Catnip. She received international award for her work, her short films that premired at Sundance film festival.

As per the Harpers Bazaar reports: Shanaya Kapoor may be in the lead role in the Student of the Year 3 web series.

Here the truth is Rubbishing such reports, Karan Johar, Tuesday took to Twitter to issue a statement. “Baseless stories making the rounds of SOTY3! My request to everyone publishing this fabrication is to Stop kindly! Please! (sic),” the filmmaker Karan Johar tweeted.

Meanwhile, this would not have been the first time that Asim Riaz would have made it to a film. Before this, the actor-model was seen in Varun Dhawan movie Mai Tera Hero.

Suhana Khan, on the other hand, newly made her acting debut with the short film The Grey Part Of Blue. Written and directed by Theodore Gimeno, Suhana Khan portrays the role of a happy romantic young girl.

At present Karan Johar is busy in his upcoming Movie Takht. “Takht” the film will star Kareena Kapoor, Ali Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles.
